Current
administration's deceit makes foreign aid a 'risky'
business I rate your site as Excellent The following is for publication if selected: The Clinton-Gore Administration proposed 81 separate tax increases last year, which would have cost our economy $82 billion over five years and $172 billion over the next 10 years. To demonstrate their dedication to giving the taxpayers' money away, Clinton just gave $248 million to India, and $15 million to North Korea for not cooperating with the U.S. in terminating nuclear weapons development. Additionally, North Korea is still developing an intercontinental missile, with communist China's help, that can hit the U.S. West Coast. Democrats in Congress, however, refuse to support a U.S. missile defense to protect against this threat, and other rogue states developing missiles. They also refuse to pledge to refrain from spending your social security taxes for purposes other than social security. The seriousness of this give-away program transcends normal criticism over foreign aid. It is a blatant attempt by a morally bankrupt administration to spend to the limits so they can justify presently high tax rates as necessary and tax cuts as risky. Concerned citizens should call or write their representatives and senators in Congress protesting these specific expenditures and requesting a freeze on all foreign aid. These efforts are necessitated by the legacy of lawlessness in the Clinton-Gore Administration during their decade of deceit. William Fielder City
