Christ the King to host Missions Conferenece this weekend

The first Missions Conference in the Charismatic Episcopal Church will be conducted by Christ the King Church of Peachtree City this Saturday, April 1, at “The Gather Place” in Peachtree City.

The Harvest Connection, a special seminar on world evangelism, will be a key part of the conference. The seminar will begin at 9:15 a.m. and will conclude at 4 p.m. It features statistical information that urges participants to get involved in international cross-cultural ministry. It also builds on a biblical understanding of missions, and offers practical, hands-on suggestions to enable churches and individuals to improve their missions outreach, regardless of the current level of Missionary service.

The conference will highlight five areas of the world. Food and native attire from these areas will be featured. The conference will be centered on the theme, “Who will Serve Them?”, a reference to Holy Communion..

There is a fee of $15 which pays for conference materials and lunch. For additional information, call 770-631-3566.
