California publisher seeks religious poems from Fayette area residents

The Bards of Burbank is seeking religious poems from Fayette area residents to be entered in their millennium poetry competition.

“We think religious poems can inspire achievement,” said Kevin Scribner, the organization's contest director. “We're especially keen on inspiring amateur poets and we think this competition will accomplish that. Georgia has produced many wonderful poets over the years and we'd like to discover new ones from among the Fayette area grassroots poets.”

There is no fee to enter. To submit your entry, send one poem 21 lines or less to: Free Poetry Contest, 2219 W. Olive Ave., PMB250, Burbank, CA 91506, or enter on-line at www.freecontest.com.
