Teeter readies for customers today By
JOHN THOMPSON After months of waiting, Fayette and Coweta shoppers will finally be able to experience the grocery shopping experience of Harris Teeter. The company's newest store opens in the Peachtree Crossing Shopping Center at 100 N. Peachtree Parkway at 9 a.m. The store used to be an A & P store, but construction workers have been busy converting the facility into the county's newest upscale grocery store. Some of the amenities at the store include: Easy Meal Program. Certified Angus beef. Seafood department. Fresh fruit bar. Rotisserie chicken, turkey & pork. Sushi. International cheeses. Chef program. Ceasar salads. Pizza program. Sandwich program. Crusty breads. Gift basket program. Fresh cut flowers. Wine consultant. Imported beers. Gourmet candy. Coin Star. The store will be open 24 hours a day and is the company's first store on the southside of Atlanta. The store also offers customers a Very Important Customer Card that offers many discounts on a variety of products. The store is managed by Keith Behrens and Lance Cosewood is the co-manager.
