Briefs Christ Our Hope youth plan car wash March 19 The youth at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a car wash on Sunday, March 19, during the Sunday School hour and the 11 a.m. worship service. Proceeds will go toward raising money to attend the ELCA National Youth Gathering. The cost is $5 per car to wash, and an additional $3 to vacuum. Vans are $6 to wash and an additional $4 to vacuum. Cornerstone men plan breakfast at Shoney's The men of Cornerstone Bible Church will have breakfast at Shoney's Saturday, March 18 beginning at 8 a.m. All men of the church are invited. Campbellsville University Chorale featured at FFBC The Campbellsville University Chorale and Handbell Choir will be featured in a concert at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Tuesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. The chorale is directed by Dr. J. Cokes Chapel UMC `hymn fest' is March 25 Historical Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church in Sharpsburg will present its semi-annual Old Fashioned Hymn Fest on Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. The community is invited to join in singing the great old hymns of the past and to enjoy special performances as well. F'ville Christian accepting donations for auction The Missions Ministry Dept. at Fayetteville Christian Church is accepting donations for this year's auction, scheduled for Sunday, March 26. Those who possess a particular talent or are good with crafts are asked to consider donating their handiwork. All donated items are tax deductible. Proceeds will be used to finance this summer's short-term mission trip to Juarez, Mexico. Items to be donated may be brought to the church on Wednesday, March 22.
