The ministers of Peachtree City have announced the schedule of events for their annual joint Good Friday service, scheduled for Friday, April 21, from noon until 1:30 p.m. Those attending may come when they can and leave as they deem necessary. This year's host church is First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, located at Ga. Hwy. 54 and Willowbend Rd.

Host pastor will be Dr. Steve Bingham. A vocal selection will be offered by Rev. Terry Killingsworth and Janet Greer will serve as organist. The theme is “The Seven Last Words of Christ.”

Other local ministers taking part in the service will be Rev. John Weber, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church; Fr. John Walsh, Holy Trinity Catholic Church; Fr. David Epps, Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church; Rev. Chuck Hodges, Peachtree City United Methodist Church; Rev. George Dillard, Peachtree City Christian Church; Dr. Don Smith, Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church; and Rev. Keith Moore, Braelinn Baptist Church.

This is the 19th year for this cooperative venture in Christian fellowship within the community. Persons of all denominations are invited to attend.

The offering taken will be given to Fayette Samaritans.
