Realtor feature on cable show

Parks & Mottola Realtor Edmund Rodriguez was featured recently on local television program “Gretta's Treasure Box” (formerly “Coweta Chat”).

Rodriguez was the first-ever guest of the new program running on Charter Cable Channel 10, broadcast throughout Coweta County.

A professional Realtor for almost 15 years, Rodriguez has been a full-time agent with Parks and Mottola since mid-1997. During the 30-minute program, Rodriguez discussed the recent changes in the Newnan and Coweta market, offering tips on buying and selling homes, as well as what to look for when selecting a real estate agent.

Rodriguez followed in his father's footsteps.

“Dad was also a Realtor back in Texas, and sent along some sage advice. My dad always said, if you deal with people and fail to make a friend, you've failed,'” Rodriguez said.

“My priority is in gaining a friend. Closing the deal is secondary.”

Actually, that's how Rodriguez met the host of “Gretta's Treasure Box,” Gretta Green.

“I sold her and her husband a home about two years ago and created a friendship. I was flattered that she asked me to be her first guest,” Rodriguez offered.

Both Rodriguez and Parks and Mottola Realtors offer full service and experience in all types of real estate transactions: residential, commercial and farms and land. Ed Rodriguez is an active member of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors and the Georgia Association of Realtors. He lives in Newnan with wife, Peggy, and their three children, Jason, Jesse and Jamie.
