BOYLAN
Get the picnic baskets, coolers and blankets ready the Webb, Stuckey and Lindsey Summer Concert Series at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater is returning with the likes of the Righteous Brothers and Kansas. The lineup for the first half of the series was released last Friday and will provide a wide range of musical variety in the coming months. The first band to play will be the hometown favorites, Kansas, April 21 and 22. The group is best known for rock hits like Dust in the Wind, Carry On My Wayward Son, and Point of No Return. Several members of the band live around Peachtree City. Don McLean will take the stage May 5-6. Best known for his tribute to the rock and roll era, American Pie, McLean also has recorded many other hits, including Vincent (Starry Night), Castles in the Air, and Crying. The group includes three of the original, founding members: Florence LaRue, Lamont McLemore and Ron Townson.
