attorney demands paper retract letters The Peachtree Citizen Review published a letter on Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, entitled City Attorney Appointment Raises Questions. The letter accuses me of unethical behavior by being on the board of a local bank while being city attorney and implies that I have improperly profited from my representation of the City of Peachtree City. The statements and insinuations contained in the letter are erroneous, false and libelous. These statements have not only harmed myself and my family, but as senior partner of the law firm of Webb, Stuckey & Lindsey, LLC, the publication of these letters has also harmed the law firm. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 51-5-l 1, I am making a demand on behalf of myself my family, and Webb, Stuckey & Lindsey, LLC, for you to, within seven days after receiving this written demand or in the next regular issue of The Peachtree Citizen Review, correct and retract the libelous statements in as conspicuous and public a manner as that in which your libelous statements were published. Further, I request that you publish an editorial in which you correct, retract, and specifically repudiate these libelous statements. Webb,
