The Atlanta 4-A Side Championships Series Indoor Soccer Tournament will be held Feb. 21. Each team will play at least six games. The cost is $90 per tournament or $160 for both. Call 770-460-8785 for more information.

There will be a goalkeeping preseason camp taught by Eric vaughter, goalkeeping director of Adidas Elite Soccer Player Academy, on Feb. 19 and 20 at McCurry Park. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 10-16. Goalkeepers should bring a ball, water bottle, shin guards, cleats, flats, goalkeeper, jersey, gloves, notebook and a pen. The cost is $25 per player. The Atlanta Silverbacks, Atlanta's professional soccer team, will travel to The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville to play the Lightning Soccer Club All Stars. The game will be held on March 11 and the kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. A Meet the Players clinic will be held from 6:15 p.m.-7 p.m. for all youth players. Tickets are $6 and include the youth clinic and a free $8 value ticket to the Silverbacks home opener against the Charleston Battery on Apr. 15. Call 770-460-8785 for tickets.

The Lightning Soccer Club has select team openings for two boys teams this spring season. Registration for boy's little league and girl's softball in the town of Brooks will be held Feb. 19, and 26 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Brooks Park. Registration is open to boys ages 5-16. for more information, check out www.brooksrec.com

Registration is open for the 22nd Annual Bryan Adrian Summer Basketball Camp. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-19 and will be held at Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga. Call 704-372-3236.

The Roberto Clemente All Stars are sponsoring a free baseball tryout on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9-11 a.m. at the Coweta County Recreation Complex in Newnan. The tryouts are open to any player age 10-19. Call 1-800-723-6398 to pre-register.

There will be an organizational meeting on Feb. 17 at Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center for the Spring adult volleyball leagues. The cost is $140 for 10 three game matches, plus tournament. Teams are eligible to sign up until league is full or March 15. Call Scott McCord at 770-631-2525.

The Fayette County Special Olympic Committee will begin training athletes in March for its soccer program. All practices will be held on Saturday afternoons at the McCurry Park Soccer Fields. The program is geared for those individuals ages 7 to 21 diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Participants will betaught the basic skills of soccer, participate in games with others, and receive an official uniform.

The only registration fee charged will be that the athlete has completed all necessary paperwork before participation. Anyone interested in enrolling his or her child in this program should contact Anita Godbee at 770-461-9714.

The Doyle Baseball School will return to Peachtree City on March 11 and 12 at the Baseball Complex on Hwy. 74 in Peachtree City. The class will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Tuition is $10 for PTC little league players under the age of nine, $20 for league players ages 10 and up and $70 for non-league players.
