Flat Creek Baptist Church will begin its preschool program this August with weekday classes for children ages three, four and five.

Registration begins next Monday, Feb. 21, in the children's building of the church. Registration hours are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

“We will offer age and developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences which will encourage the child's growth physically, intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially, in a nurturing Christian environment,” a spokesperson said. All classes will be taught for a half-day, from 9 a.m. until noon.

Classes will be offered for three-year-olds two days a week and three days a week. Children for these classes must be three by Sept. 1, 2000.

Classes for four-year-olds will be conducted three days a week, four days a week and five days a week. Children admitted to these classes must be four by Sept. 1, 2000.

Kindergarten classes for five-year-olds will be taught five days a week. Students eligible for kindergarten must be five by Sept. 1, 2000.
