St.
Andrew's schedules Bible seminar Feb. 20 St. Andrew's in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree city will offer a Lutheran Bible Institute seminar called "Walk Thru the Old Testament" on consecutive Sundays, Feb. 20 and 27. The public is invited to attend the seminar, which is recommended for children and adults, 4th grade and older. The cost is $12 per person and free childcare at the church is available on request. "Lutheran Bible Institute is a unique educational ministry whose objective is to bring people to a new level of excitement about the Word of God," a spokesperson explains. "To achieve their objective, the institute uses proven teaching methods including "memory hocks" and hand signs to learn the people, places and events of the Old Testament. Participants find that the chronology falls into place in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-remember pattern." The seminars are said to appeal to everyone, even those who are not familiar with the Bible. Space is limited and early registration is recommended. For more information and to register for the seminar at St. Andrew's, call Marianne Freehling at 770-502-9053 or the church office at 770-487-8415.
