Briefs Heritage Christian offers marriage conference Heritage Christian Church in Peachtree City will offer a two-day marriage conference this Friday and Saturday at High Grove Clubhouse. Entitled A Biblical Portrait of Marriage, the conference will run from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday. The cost is $35 per person. Zion Lutheran offers Parents' Night Out Parent volunteers of Zion Lutheran Church in Newnan will offer a Parents' Night Out on Friday, Feb. 4, from 6:30-10:30 p.m., giving adults the opportunity to have some time for themselves while their children participate in age-appropriate activities and games. Registration is required one week in advance and there is a fee of $5 per family to cover the cost of snacks. Parents' Night Out is held monthly, usually on the first or second Friday evening of the month. Zion Lutheran is at 53 Country Club Rd. in Newnan. Parents who would like to register their children may call the church office at 770-253-2884. Flat Rock A.M.E. to host seniors, youth roundtable Senior citizens and youth at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church will discuss Fayette County Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow in a roundtable discussion scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m. All community churches are invited to participate. CDM offers seven-week Bible study course The leadership Team at Carolyn Driver Ministries (CDM) in Tyrone will present Character Studies from the Bible, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 7-9 p.m. Each week for seven weeks, the group will offer a study of a different person in the bible, his/her strengths and weaknesses, and how an individual may relate to them today in his or her own life.
