Elizabeth Wolfe of Warthen will be the guest speaker this weekend at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Newnan, as the church's “Revival Fire 2000” continues Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through March. Services begin at 7 p.m.

In addition to speaking at the evening services, Mrs. Warthen will speak during a special day of teaching for ladies of the church on Saturday, Feb. 5, beginning at 10 a.m. The special session will continue until noon, when a soup, salad and dessert luncheon will be offered. The session will continue from 1-3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The event is open to all ladies, regardless of denomination, and there is no fee for the teaching or the luncheon.

Mrs. Wolfe and her husband, Pat, live in Warthen. They have two children and two grandchildren.
