First Baptist of Peachtree City is offering marriage seminar

The First Baptist Church of Peachtree City is offering the community a Homebuilders Marriage Seminar on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28 and 29 at the church. Those attending will receive tools to improve communication and to keep their romances fresh. There will also be humorous talk, group activities and fun couples projects.

Homebuilders is a nationally recognized organization sponsored by Campus Crusade. The seminar leaders will be Drew and Kit Coons who have conducted marriage seminars for 25 years.

Saturday's session begins at 9 a.m. and will include such topics as “Building a New Millennial Marriage,” “God's Power,” and “Romantic Ideas.” Free time is planned from 1-6 p.m. when couples are encouraged to enjoy time with their spouses.

At 6 p.m., couples will enjoy a romantic dinner and be motivated by a talk on “Honoring Your Mate.”

The cost of the seminar is $25 per couple, which includes Saturday night's dinner. Limited childcare space is available.
