Buffalo's Cafe helps Friday Home

Fayette's friendly folks turned out in force last Thursday at Buffalo's Cafe in Fayetteville to help raise money for one of the county's charity group.

More than $1,800 was raised at the ribbon-cutting and fundraiser for the Fayette Youth Protection Home.

“We want to get involved with the community on an ongoing basis,” said Buffalo's marketing representative Rick Fulk. “We are moving towards a casual, family atmosphere and thought this would be the ideal way to kick-off that concept.”

Buffalo's plans to get involved in other community projects, such as school incentives, reading contests and academic excellence.
