Economic guru set to address the Chamber

Noted economist Donald Ratajczac heads up the lineup for this year's annual meeting of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.

The theme for this year's meeting is “Vision 2000, A Glimpse at the Future and the meeting kicks off at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 with a social hour that leads into the dinner at 7 p.m. followed by Ratajczac's address.

The economist is the director of the Economics Forecasting Center at Georgia State University and one of the most quoted economists around the country.

In 1994, he was presented with the Economic Forecasting Award for the most accurate U.S. blue chip economic forecast during the previous four years.

Tickets for the event are going fast, so make your reservations now.
