William Ralph Brown

William Ralph Brown, 85, Fayetteville, died Nov. 22, 2004. He was born June 9, 1919 in Walton County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Brown. Services were at Harps Crossing Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, College Park. Survivors include children Jo Ann and David Mays, Fayetteville, Shelia and Dennis Watson, Fayetteville, and Bill and Ann Brown, Decatur; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Beverly J. Henderson-Repshinska

Beverly J. Henderson-Repshinska, 80, Fayetteville, died Nov. 25, 2004. She was born Sept. 9, 1924 in Pontiac, Mich. and graduated from Pontiac Central High School. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Henderson whom she married in 1943. He died in 1981. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald Kalso and James Kalso. She was retired from General Motors Parts Division after 27 years of service. Services were at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac, Mich., with interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston, Mich. Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Repshinska, whom she married in 1984; children, Charles and Eleanor Henderson, Fayetteville, Ron and Terri Henderson, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Shawn and Randy Cook, Pontiac Mich.; step-children Diane Repshinska and LuAnn and Al Graham all of Cass City, Mich.; grandmother to Jennifer and Tim Hibbetts, Wendy and Christopher Cook, Nicole and Ronnie Henderson, Stephanie McCallum; and great-grandchildren Kallyn Hibbetts, and Erin McCallum. Mary Helen Ward

Mary Helen Ward, 81, Crawfordville, formerly of Hapeville, died Nov. 27, 2004. She was born May 28, 1923 in Fulton County. She was graduated from Russell High School in 1940. She was retired from the Hapeville Police Department in 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Bell “Red” Ward. Graveside services were at College Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Allen Parker officiating. Survivors include daughters, Sheryl Altenburg and Carol Ann Walker, both of Fayetteville; and Denise Ward, Athens; a sister, Claudette Page, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Rebecca Claudette Anderson Kobres

Rebecca Claudette Anderson Kobres, 62, Fayetteville, died Nov. 22, 2004. She was born Feb. 7, 1942 in Rock Hill, S.C. She was preceded in death by her father, William Claude Anderson. She was a member of Neely’s Creek ARP Church and a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Erskine College. She was  lifelong artist and one of her portraits hangs in the main lobby of the Brooks Center for the performing Arts at Clemson University. She was formerly employed with René Victor Bidez Photography in Fayetteville. Services were in the Blue Room at Neely’s Creek ARP Church with interment at the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Paul Kobres, Fayetteville; a son, Rudolph Paul Kobres II, Fayetteville; mother, Jeanette E. Anderson, Rock Hill, S.C.; brothers, Ronald B. Anderson, Titusville, Fla., and William Anderson Jr., Rock Hill, S.C.; a sister, Jeanie Cantrell, Columbus, S.C.; and two nieces. Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, Rock Hill, S.C., was in charge.
