Survivors include her husband, Gerald Mabry, Peachtree City; a son, Byron Mabry, Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Patricia and Phil Colston, Peachtree City; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. Sylvia McElwaney Sylvia McElwaney, 72, Tyrone, died Oct. 19, 2004. She was born Nov. 9, 1931 in Fulton County. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include sons, Mark Mason, Forest Park, and Frederick and Michelle McElwaney, Canton; a daughter, Pamela and Aaron Jinks, Jonesboro; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Edward Kelso, Townsend; one niece and several nephews. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Thomas S. Smart Thomas S. Smart, 47, Fayetteville, died Oct. 20, 2004. He was born Feb. 16, 1957 in Walnut Creek, Calif. Services were at St. Gabriels Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Daniel Toof officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Smart, Fayetteville; a son, Billy Smart, Fayetteville; and brothers, Tim Smart, Gibralter, Mich., and Terry Smart, Troy,, Mich. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Maurice Wilson Maurice Wilson, 64, New York, died Oct. 22, 2004. He was born in New York City on Jan. 28, 1940. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wilson. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Eddie Thomas officiating. Interment was by his father at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his mother, Alice Wilson; Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Marie Pearson, Tampa, Fla. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. Clyde Francis Bumgardner Clyde Francis Bumgardner, 80, Peachtree City, died Oct. 23, 2004. He was born Oct. 31, 1923. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He was a retired salesman of the Monsanto Company. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with Ministers Aubrey Johnson, James Thompson, and Warren Sims officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Clara Mosser Bumgardner, Peachtree City; a son, Brian Keith Bumgardner, Valdosta; a brother, Russell Bumgardner, Harrisville, W. Va.; and a sister, JoAnn Warner, Harrisville, W. Graveside services were at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn, with the Rev. Ken Rose officiating. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Dorris Pruett Hambrick, Brooks; sons, Tommy Hambrick, Palmetto, Bubba Hambrick, Milner, and David Hambrick, Brooks; a brother, James Hambrick, Sharpsburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral home, Peachtree City, was in charge. Thomas P. Kippenberger Thomas P. Tom Kippenberger, 69, Peachtree City, died Oct. 24, 2004. He was born Oct. 17, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was retired from Buick Motor Division. A funeral mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father John Walsh officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kay Kippenberger, Peachtree City; children, Sharon Kippenberger, Pittsburgh, Pa., Tom and Sheryl Kippenberger, Nashville, Tenn., and John and Susan Kippenberger, Alpharetta; grandchildren, Katie Kippenberger, Jack Kippenberger, and Allyse Kippenberger; and siblings, Jerry Kippenberger, Ellen Bayers, Dan Kippenberger, Joan Robke, and George Kippenberger.
