Bad Links? | ObituariesCharlie H. Mask Charlie H. Charlie Mask, 74, Fayetteville, died Sept. 9, 2004. He was born June 6, 1930 in Fayette County, son of John George and Annie Ruth Norton Mask. He was preceded in death by son, Richard Doyle Mask. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He owned and operated a barber shop in Fayetteville for 35 years, and had been active in the Fayette County Kiwanis. Services were at the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Garner officiating. Interment was at Lisbon Baptist Church cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include a daughter, Debra and John Christian, Greensboro; granddaughters, Melanie Christian and Mandy Rose Christian; and sisters, Martha and Royce Richardson, and Colleen Jones, all of Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. James C. McCranie James C. Jim McCranie, 61, Fayetteville, died Sept. 15, 2004. He was born May 25, 1943 in Ben Hill County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Hildred McCranie, and brothers Allen McCranie, and David McCranie. He was a member of the Sharing Sunday School class at Flat Creek Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, choir member, and had served on various committees. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Priester, and the Rev. Russell T. Barker officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Nina McCranie, Fayetteville; a son, David and Janet McCranie, Senoia; a daughter, Lisa and James Hammock, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Samuel Hammock, Sharpsburg, Caitlyn McCranie, Senoia; siblings, Laverne Hogan and Billy McCranie, both of Fitzgerald, Marianne Whitaker, Thomson, Jonnie Grimsley, Warner Robins, Joyce Crump, Knoxville, Tenn., and Bonita James, Valley, Ala. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Payne England. Services were at the Brooks Christian Church with Minister Paul Carrier officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include Mike and Susan England, McDonough, Darlene and Rick Spears, Loganville, Wanda and Michel Roberts, Brooks, and Danny and Stephanie England, Fayetteville; four grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy England, Tennessee; and sisters, Mary Timmons, Tennessee, and Ruby. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Hipp, a son, David Hipp, and a daughter, Deborah Brooks. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Henry Bud Brewer, Fayetteville; a daughter, Donna Smith, Knoxville; grandchildren, Abby, Jennifer, and Jake Smith, and their father, Rodney and Sheila Smith, Knoxville. Relph Dee Barr Ralph Dee Barr, 48, Fayetteville, died Sept. 17, 2004. He was born Aug. 1, 1956 in Texas. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include his wife, Natalie Strickland Barr, Brooks; children, Windy Barr, and Jesse Barr, both of Brooks; and in-laws, Howell and Janice Strickland, Fayetteville. Carl J.
