Bad Links? | ObituariesDomonick Ciccanesi Domonick Ciccanesi, 83, Fayetteville, died Sept. 3, 2004. He was born April 28, 1921 in Buffalo, N. Y., and was reared in Boston, Mass. He served in the United States Army in World War II under General George Patton in Africa and Europe, and again in the Korean Conflict. After retirement he was a manager with the Holiday Inn Corporation, working in the Atlanta Market and the European Market. He enjoyed friends, golf, and opera. Services were at the Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Isabel, whom he met and married in Germany; a son, Pete and Becky Ciccanesi, Fayetteville; and an extended family in Boston, Mass. Patsy Duane Cheatwood Patsy Duane Cheatwood, 56, Fayetteville, died Sept. 3, 2004. She was born Oct. 10, 1947 in Miller County, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Preston Loyd Cheatwood. She worked as a registered nurse for 15 years. Services were at the C. J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Barry Thompson and the Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Josh Cheatwood, Atlanta; a daughter, Amanda Cheatwood, Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Syndey Wagner, Fayetteville; parents, Wyatt and Dune Moore, Fayetteville; and a brother, James and Alice Moore, Niceville, Fla. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Norman Gerald Simpson Norman Gerald Simpson, 71, Peachtree City, died Sept. 6, 2004. He was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Biloxi, Miss. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Carolyn Driver officiating. Interment at Reeder Cemetery, Laurel Hills, Fla. Survivors include his wife, Mary D. Simpson, Peachtree City; a son, Keith Gerald Simpson, Moab, Utah; a daughter, Nancy Renée and John Guest, Sylmar, Calif.; four grandchildren; brother, Ray Simpson, Turkey; and a sister, Joann Hill, Williamsburg, Va. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Craig ONeal, four brothers, and one sister. He served in the United States Army in World War II and was a member of the Masonic order. He was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Pilgrim, the Rev. Dan Rice, and the Rev. Gary Parrish officiating. Interment was at Forest lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Katy Ruth ONeal, Peachtree City; sons, Ronald and Carol ONeal, Cumming, and Edward and Terrie ONeal, Norcross; and grandchildren, Michael and Katharyn ONeal. Outlar, 76, Peachtree City, died Sept. 8, 2004. She was born Jan. 28, 1928 in Iceland. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Bill Calhoun officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Outlar, Peachtree City; children, Cindy and the Rev. Survivors include her husband, Tom Kassin, Peachtree City; sons, Patrick and Michael; mother, Marty Hargett, Lincoln, Ill.; a brother, Gil Hargett, Warne, N. C.; and sisters, Kendra Weiss, Randolph. Brooks Boyd Tilton Sr. Brooks Boyd Tilton Sr., captain, Piedmont Airlines and US Air Airlines, retired, died Sept. 12, 2004. He was a resident of Bermuda Run, N. C. He was born March 24, 1941 in Lexington, Ky. to the late William Albert and Dorothy Robinson Tilton. He attended the University of Miami and Embry Riddle Flight School. He was a pilot and check airman for Piedmont and US Air, retiring in 1994 after 32 years of service. He also enjoyed golf. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Tilton, Bermuda Run, N. C.; a son, Brooks and Gina Tilton Jr., Peachtree City; a daughter, Sabrina and Beau Brown, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Brown, and Austin and Raven Tilton; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Nancy Wilber, Berkely, W. Va.; a brother-in-law, Paul and Kathie Wilber, Charleston, S.C., and Sandy and Roger Sprinkle, Holly Springs, N. C. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Funeral Home, N. C., was in charge.
