Memorial services will be held at a later date in Buffalo, N. Y. Survivors include her children, J. Kevin Cullin, Los Angeles, Barbara Cullen, Peachtree City, Kathleen Cullin Harwood, Lake Forest, Ill., Thomas S. Cullen, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mary Louise Wright, Phoenix, Ariz.; and 11 grandchildren. Charles Abercrombie Charles Mike Abercrombie, 63, Jonesboro, Fayette County, died Aug. 14, 2004. Services were at the Ford-Stewart chapel with Pastor Terry Marbut officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Abercrombie, Jonesboro, Fayette County; children, Charles M. Abercrombie II, Fayetteville, Dena Faye Coburn, Texas, John Newsome, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Roy Derek Abercrombie, Lovejoy; brothers, Donald Abercrombie, Wedowee, Ala., James Abercrombie, and Sammy Abercrombie, both of Douglasville, and David Abercrombie, Temple; sisters, Martha Lowery, and Evelyn Humphries, both of Douglasville; and six grandchildren. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro, was in charge. James Lewis Jackson James Lewis Jim Jackson Sr., 60, Fayetteville, died Aug. 16, 2004. He was born Feb. 26, 1944 in Fulton County, the son of the late C. Hunt and Fannie Lewis Jackson Sr. He was also preceded in death by Eleanor M. Jackson. He owned and operated Fayette Sporting Goods after a career in teaching and coaching at College Park High, Campbell High, M. D. Collins High, and Fayette County High schools. He was admitted to the Fayette County High School Hall of Fame in 1999 due to his prowess in sports. He had been chosen as most valuable player in each sport at least once, as an ace pitcher, star quarterback or the basketball teams leading scorer. Services were at the Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ellis Freeman officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Jay and Susan Jackson; a daughter, Jan and Glenn Kolker; a brother, Hunt and Dixie Jackson; and granddaughters, Weldon and Helen Kolker, and Virginia Jackson. Walter Rodriguez Walter Rodriguez, 66, Peachtree City, died Aug. 16, 2004. He was born Oct. 20, 1937 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ken Adams officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Marie Rosa Natale Rodriguez, Peachtree City,; a son, Alejandro and Paula Rodriguez, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Thomas and Maria Loren Rodriguez; and a brother, Reuben Rodriguez.
