Bad Links? | ObituariesAngela Clare Schulte Renard Angela Clare Schulte Renard, 77, Peachtree City, died July 15, 2004. She was born March 8,1927 in Yankton, S. D. She worked in an ammunitions plant during World War II. She then attended Creighton University in Omaha, married and spent most of her married life in Nashville, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, whom she married on Sept. 3, 1949. They had moved to Peachtree City in 1997. She had been an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Friendship Circle and a RCIA sponsor. She was active in the Pioneers Club and activities at The Gathering Place. A funeral mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father John Walsh officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include children, Sandra and David Davies, Hot Springs, Ark., Cathie Maureen and Pete Wheble, Peachtree City, and Kelley and Dan Renard, Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Jessica Gunter, Megan Sullivan, Meredith Davies, Erik Stauss, Megan Stauss, Danielle Smith, Daryl Smith, Deanna Smith, Michelle Sanders, Kelley Jean Renard, Patrick Wheble, Amy Wheble, Stephanie Renard, Ryan Renard, Tyler Renard, and Kelsey Renard; great-grandchildren, Torri Sanders, Ruby Smith, Daisy Sullivan, and Ethan Gunter; and a brother, Maurice and Carrie Schulte, Greenfield, Colo. Jesse Adam Hill Jesse Adam Hill, 24, Griffin, died July 16, 2004. He was born July 8, 1980. He was preceded in death by a son, David Hill. Memorial services were at the Warren Haisten Memorial chapel, Griffin. Survivors include his mother, Christy McSwiggan, Griffin; his father, a long-time employee of the Fayette County Road Department, Jesse K. and Daisy Hill, Williamson; a sister, Nicole and Curtis Langford, California; grandfather, Phil Johnson Sr., Griffin; grandmother, Mintie Sue Rogers, Griffin; uncles, Phil and Margaret Johnson Jr., and Dennis and Sue Johnson, all of Griffin; and cousins, Tommy Wilder, Jay Wilder, Denny Johnson, Ben Johnson, Grant Johnson, Kelly Poston, and Jay Poston. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, Griffin, was in charge. Shirley Kinney Shirley Kinney, Fayetteville, died July 17, 2004. Services were at the North Fayette Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Willis officiating. Interment was Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Bostwick. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Kinney, Fayetteville; daughters, Angie and Dan Murchison, Lawrenceville, and Stacey and Bobby Caldwell, Fayetteville; brothers, Cecil Hammock, Bostwick, and Tracey Hammock, Walnut Grove; a sister, Rachel Norris, Athens; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bobby, Kayla, Olivia, Samantha, and Nicole. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge. Geraldine Duckett Geraldine Duckett, Anderson, S. C., died July 17, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Marvin K. and Lucille Latham Crittendon. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Duckett, and a son, Donnie Duckett. Services were at the McDougald Funeral Home chapel; with the Rev. Sam Chasteen officiating. Interment was at South Lawn Memorial Gardens, Starr, S. C. Survivors include daughters, Johnna Smith, LaGrange, Ga., Elizabeth Blackwell, Anderson, S. C. was in charge. Tervalu Whitaker Jenkins Trevalu Whitaker Jenkins, 91, Fayetteville, died July 18, 2004. She was born Nov. 17, 1912 in Butts County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duard Jenkins. She was in the United States Army Intelligence for 3 years, and was teacher for 30 years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. William Troutman officiating. Interment was at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park. Survivors include a daughter, Susan and Tommy Thompson, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jason and Alisha Thompson, Smyrna, Andy and Andrea Thompson, Charlotte, N. C., and Whitney Thompson, Fayetteville; and sister, Hilda Henderson, Shelby, N. C. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Mary Page Vane Mary Page Vane, 82, Peachtree City, died July 23, 2004. She was born April 14, 1922 in Slater, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Vane, brothers, Johnny Page and Harold Page, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Brown. She was retired from Turnbull Baking Company with over 30 years of service. She was active in the Peachtree City United Methodist Church and volunteered at The Gathering Place, and also served as an AARP Tax Aide. A memorial service was held at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Edmonds, Independence, Mo.; a son, Randy and Margaret Vane, Knoxville, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary and David Ermer, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Mark Vane, Nashville, Tenn., Jennifer Egan, Chevy Chase, Md., and Blair Ermer, Incline Village, Nev.; and a great-granddaughter, Madeline Egan, Chevy Chase, Md.
