She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Lacy, and a grandson, Mark Lacy. She had lived in Warrensburg, Miss. for 40 years, before moving to Peachtree City. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City. A memorial service will be held on June 27, at 12:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian. Interment was at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, Ill. Survivors include sons Richard and Betty Lacy, Decatur, Ill., Carl and June Lacy, North Little Rick, Ark., and Ron Lacy, Burnsville, Minn.; a daughter, Shirley Lacy and Charles Norviel; grandchildren, Terri Norviel and Dwight Hartman, Carla Fisher, John Norviel, Terri Hartman, Eric Lacy, Kyle Lacy, JoCarol Black, and Chris Lacy; and great-grandchildren, Colette and Rachel, Peachtree City, and seven other great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Ministries, First Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 2430, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge. Van G. Gella Van G. Gella, 79, Fayetteville, died June 5, 2004. He was born April 1, 1925 in the Phillipines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Gella. Services were at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with interment at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Van, I. and Minnie Gella, Fayetteville; a daughter, Brenda and Robert Klebahn, Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Pedrito Gella, San Francisco, Calif., and Bonefacio Gella, Phillipines. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Donald E. Trossen Donald E. Trossen, 88, Fayetteville, died June 6, 2004. He was born Nov. 29, 1915 in Marshfield, Wis. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II in Italy and Sicily. Memorial services were at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, Riverdale, with Pastor Jeffrey Halenza officiating. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Jane Fehrenbach Trossen; daughters, Connie Trossen Newsome, and Jill Trossen and Chris Hughes; and grandchildren, Brian and Natalie Newsome, Stephanie Newsome, and Kimberly Goodwin. Tom Pilgrim, the Rev. Gary Parrish, and the Rev. Jim Ellison officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Jeff D. Smith Sr., Fayetteville; sons, Garry and Brenda Smith, Fayetteville, and Jeff and Kay Smith Jr., Albany; and grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Jesup, Daniel Smith, Brunswick, Alan Smith, Forrest City, Ark., and Kevin Smith and Laurie Smith, both of Albany. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Ellen L. Thompson, Fayetteville; daughters, Luanne and Rocky McGinnis, and Lynne and Neal Nelson, all of Fayetteville; a brother, Al and Polly Thompson, Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Noah and Jordan McGinnis, and Blakely and Sara Nelson.
