She was born July 13, 1914 in Moultrie, Ga., the daughter of Daniel and Samantha Purvis Lott. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Paul, in 1988, and a son, Richard Paul, in 1992. She was a former employee of the Martha Mills Division of B. F. Goodrich Co., a member of the Church of God, Warner Robins, and a former member of Thomaston Church of God. Services were at the Pasley-Fletcher Chapel, Thomaston, with the Rev. Clyde Johns officiating. Interment was at Crystal Hill Cemetery, Thomaston. Survivors include a son, Bobby Barfield, Jonesboro; daughters, Ivolene Rainey, Warner Robins, Patricia Fallin, Riverdale, and Linda Dees, Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman, writer, inventor, and a member of MENSA. He was an active member of the Republican Party. Services were at St. George Catholic Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. He was born March 20, 1958 in King County, Ill. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Miller, and his oldest brother, Robert F. Miller. Joyce Paulk Cochran Joyce Paulk Cochran, 67, Fayetteville, died Feb. 5, 2004. She was born Dec. 3, 1936 in Sumatra, Fla., and reared in Wakulla County, Fla. She was a graduate of Crawfordville High School in Crawfordville, Fla. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christie Marie Cochran. She and her husband moved to the Atlanta area in 1961 and lived in Fayetteville the last 20 years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Minister Greg Marksberry and Minister Johnny Prettyman officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. He enjoyed writing poetry and woodworking. Services were at the Woolsey Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Chambers, the Rev. Larry Mattox, and the Rev. Clarence Drake officiating.
