John Thomas Fincher, 57, Moreland, died Nov. 19, 2002. He was born April 20, 1945 in Coweta County. He was a certified public accountant. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Aline "Babe" Jenkins, 77, Newnan, died Nov. 20, 2002. She was born Aug. 19, 1925 in Valdosta, Ga. Graveside services were at Sunset Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Phil West officiating. Wade Shiver
Wade Hugh Shiver, 69, Newnan, died Nov. 21, 2002. He was born June 18, 1933 in Dublin, Ga. He was retired from the sales of auto parts for 40 years. He worked with Bill Murry & Associates of Birmingham for 25 years. He attended Middle Georgia College, Cochran, Ga., and was a resident of Newnan for 25 years. He was a charter member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Services were at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. David Campbell and the Rev. Dr. Alton McEachern officiating. Survivors include his wife, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on Nov. 1, Jean Shiver, Newnan; daughters, Jeanna Shiver, Newnan, Nancy Shiver, Sharpsburg, and Deborah and Michael Sternett, Duluth, Ga.; a sister, Daisy Cone, Dublin; and a granddaughter, Annabelle Shiver, Sharpsburg.
