James Quentin Fender, 83, Peachtree City, formerly of Roanoke, Va., died Nov. 18, 2002. He was born June 14, 1919 in Sparta, N. C. He was retired from Norfolk and Western Railway in 1981 with 39 years of service. He was a member of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, tennis, and woodworking. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Chuck Hodges officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Norma Allen Fender, Peachtree City; a son, Rob and Chris Fender, Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Jeanne and Bob Burks, Peachtree City; a grandson, David and Martha Burks, Springfield, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Burks and Mallory Burks, both of Springfield, Ga. Leroy Robert Younger
Leroy Robert Younger, 77, died Nov. 20, 2002. He was born Nov. 13, 1925 in Harris County, Texas. He was veteran of World War II. He had worked for the American Can Company for 43 years and was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Services were at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams, and Deacon Al McHugh officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Stephens Younger, Fayetteville; sons, Stephen Younger and Roland and Ann Younger, all of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Drenda and Walter Brady, Fayetteville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorene Weeden, Houston, Texas. Memorial donations may be given to the St. Gabriel's Catholic Church Building Fund, 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Anthony George Arrichiello, 21, Peachtree City, died Nov. 20, 2002. He was born June 21, 1981 in Cook County, Ill. Services were at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father David McGinnis officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Maryann Arrichiello, Peachtree City; a sister, Michele Arrichiello, Dunwoody; a grandmother, Anna Baszkowske, Chicago, Ill; an uncle, Lawrence, Baszkowske, Elk Grove Village, Ill; and a an aunt, Carol Spano, Lambard, Ill.
