Dawn Pollack

Dawn Pollack, 67, Peachtree City, died Sept. 8, 2002. She was born July 15, 1935 in Montgomery County, Pa. She was preceded in death by a grandson, John Duckworth III. Memorial services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Larry Daniel officiating. Survivors include sons, John and Cathy Duckworth Jr., Hudson, Mass. and James and Doraine Duckworth, Jacksonville, Ala.; daughters, Patty and Ron Ruest, Marlboro, Mass., and Nancy and Tony Hammer, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Chris Ruest, Kim Ruest, Ryan Rusk, Matthew Rusk, Michael Duckworth, Mark Duckworth, and Nick Duckworth; a brother, Kermit and Ann Steffey, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Geraldine and Bob Ogin, Pennsylvania; and cat, Jessica. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Care Home, 760 Washington St., S.W., Atlanta, GA 30315. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Joyce Mitchell Hand

Joyce Mitchell Hand, 65, Peachtree City, died Sept. 12, 2002. She was born Feb. 1, 1937 in Florence, Ala. Memorial services were at the Peachtree City First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Martin Hand, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Darlene Joyce Hand, Peachtree City; a grandson; and a granddaughter. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Teddy Ray Powell

Teddy Ray Powell, 66, Peachtree City, died Sept. 12, 2002. He was born Oct. 19, 1935 in Rockingham County, N. C. He was retired from the United States Navy and a former resident of Eden, N. C. Memorial services were at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Walsh officiating. Survivors include his wife, Angela L. Powell, Peachtree City; a son, Steve and Kim Powell, Peachtree City; daughters, Ahnelt Keeler, San Diego, Calif., and Melanie and Steve Hester, Roxboro, N. C.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack and MayAnn Powell, Greensboro, N. C. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Norma Maloney

Norma Maloney, 65, Peachtree City, died Sept. 14, 2002. She was born Dec. 5, 1936 in Kings County. N. Y. She was a real estate agent with Scarbrough Century 21, Tyrone, for 10 years, and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Memorial services were at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Maloney, Peachtree City; a son, James Rogers, North Adams, Mass.; a daughter, Jeanne Grady, McDonough; two grandchildren; mother, Catherine Colgan, Warwick, R. I.; two brothers; and four sisters. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-0050. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Leonard Douglas Thrailkill

Leonard Douglas Thrailkill, 61, McDonough, died Sept. 15, 2002. He was born June 18, 1941 in Fulton County. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Kenwood First Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Lynn McLain and the Rev. Dr. Darrell Hays officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Judy H. Thrailkill, McDonough; a son, Joel and Hope Thrailkill, Locus Grove; a daughter, Stacie Thrailkill, Atlanta; two grandchildren; and four brothers. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Willie Mae Stephens

Willie Mae Stephens, 85, Fayetteville, died Sept. 15, 2002. She was born M0arch 13, 1917 in Copperhill, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Stephens. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Keith Colter and the Rev. A. C. Jones officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons, Wayne and Merrilee Stephens, Fayetteville, and Larry and Lina Stephens, Hampton; grandchildren, Chris Stephens, Atlanta, and Kevin Stephens, Senoia; brothers, Ralph Jones, Lake Oconee, Raymond Jones, Canton, A. C. Jones and Verdell Jones, both of Powder Springs, Norman Jones, Senoia, and Troy Jones, Smyrna; and sisters, Josephine Westerman, and Geraldine Warbington, both of Canton, and Fannie Poole, Duluth. Clarence E. Allbrittin III

Clarence E. “Britt” Allbritton III, 31, Fayetteville, died Sept. 16, 2002. He was born March 24,1971 in Fulton County. He was employed with Danza AEI. He was a member of the Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Jeffrey M. Halenza officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include parents, Clarence E. "Gene" and Diane Allbritton, Fayetteville; sisters, Melissa and Johnny Wilson, Carrollton, and Cathy Allbritton and Dan Graham, Fayetteville; and grandmother, Mildred Moeller, Seymour, Wis. Carl J.
