June K. Baumwell

June K. Baumwell, 82, Boynton Beach, Fla., died Aug. 27, 2002. She was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio. Memorial services were at the Hospice By-the-Sea, Boca Raton, Fla., with internment at Boynton Beach Mausoleum, Boynton Beach, Fla. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert B. Baumwell; sons, John Baumwell, Kissimmee, Fla., and Robert Baumwell, Boynton Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Stephens, Peachtree City, nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA. 30291. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Stephen N. Hertzfeldt

Stephen N. Hertzfeldt, 61, Fayetteville, died Aug. 31, 2002. He was born Nov 1, 1940 in Cable, Wis. Memorial services will be held later in California. Survivors include a brother, Larry ;and Diana Hertzfeldt, Fayetteville; nephews, Paul Hertzfeldt, Todd Hebb and Tony Hertzfeldt; and a niece, Beth Hertzfeldt. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.

Donald McGregor Gaines

Donald McGregor Gaines Sr., 77, Fayetteville, died Sept. 2, 2002. He was born Sept. 18, 1924 in Indianola, Penn. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Holcome. He was retired as a United States customs agent in 1978. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Crouse Gaines, Fayetteville; a son, Donald and Nancy Gaines Jr., Peachtree City; a daughter, Candis and Donald Hitt, Luthersville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jeanne Baker, Tarentum, Penn. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Dorothy Wood St. Clair

Dorothy Wood St. Clair, 80, Hogansville, died Sept. 6, 2002. She was born Oct. 17, 1921 in Covington, Va., the daughter of the late Owen and Naomi Heironimus Wood. She was preceded in death by a husband, W. W. St. Clair, and a granddaughter, Susan St. Clair. She was a resident of Hogansville since 1959 and was retired from William L. Bonnell Co. Services were at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Brown and the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating. Interment was at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Hogansville. Survivors include sons, Mayor Wilson St. Clair and Gerald St. Clair, both of Hogansville; daughters, Scarlett and Earl J. Hanners Jr., Brooks and Crystal St. Clair, Snellville; a brother, Earl Wood, LaGrange; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville, was in charge.

David Fred Sams

David Fred Sams, 43, Fayetteville, died Sept. 7, 2002. He was born Sept. 29, 1958. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Justin Kollmeyer officiating. Survivors include his mother, Aleene S. Sams, Fayetteville; a brother, Phillip Sams, Peachtree City; a sister, Gail Sams, Griffin; an aunt, Ruth Cranford, Fayetteville; and cousins, Randy Cranford, Tyrone, and Jackie Sherwood, Peachtree City. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Harold Jones

Harold Jones, 76, Peachtree City, died Sept. 7, 2002. He was born April 5, 1926 in Troup County, Ga. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Howard Toombs, the Rev. Hubert Pruitt, and the Rev. Wallace Sheats officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn Sheats Jones; a son, Allen Jones, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Steven Jones, Stephanie Jones, and Kelly Jones; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Jones and Seth Jones.
