Jacqueline "Jackie" Edwards Hambrick, 89, died Feb. 19, 2010. She was born in Statesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, I. Ardell and Willie Edwards, her husband Virgil Cicero Hambrick, who died in 1970, daughters, Pamela McRee and Sherra Young, and grandson, Stephen Lotti, and a sister, Willie "Sancie" Avera. She took pride in the ever-growing size of her family. She loved to cook and visit with friends and family and will be best remembered for her laughter, and sly wit. Graveside services were at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Atlanta.

Survivors include a son, Benjamin "Bennie" Hambrick; grandchildren, David McRee, Mike McRee, Matt McRee, Kim Andrews, Joe Lotti, Krista Lowery, and Melinda Oliver; and great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
