By: The Citizen
Southside Theatre Guild in Fairburn is giving you a behind the scenes look with “Teachers, The Musical.” The cast features Sharpsburg residents Tommy McDaniel and Truman Griffin, Fayetteville’s Alexia Barrett and Lauran Wilkerson, Jim Abert of Acworth, Marti Catrett of Barnesville and Maureen McDaniel of Haralson. “Teachers, The Musical” was written by Atlanta playwright Robin Seidman. The music was composed by David Reeb. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Feb. 18-March 6 with a Sunday matinee on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. The show features lots of singing, dancing and surprises. This presentation is recommended for mature audiences, because “what happens in the teacher’s lounge stays in the teacher’s lounge.” Tickets are $12 - $15.
