Sheriffs charge 3 for phony checksTue, 01/26/2010 - 4:24pm

Fayette County Sheriff’s detectives have obtained arrest warrants for three people this month for passing phony checks at local businesses on three separate occasions. Lequonza Allen, 33, of Elberton is charged with identity fraud for cashing a fraudulent check on Dec. 11 at Bank of America that belonged to a Fayette County resident. Kiara Paige, 19, of Jonesboro is charged with identity fraud for cashing a fraudulent check on Dec. 17 at Bank of America that belonged to a Fayette County resident. Michael Eurone Millen, 54, of Atlanta is charged with identity fraud for attempting to pay for a computer from AIS computers with a fraudulent check Jan. 4. login to post comments |
