By: Ben Nelms
Fayetteville police are investigating a claim by two teenage girls that an adult male acquaintance gave them pills in order to take advantage of them and had attempted to do so. Details of the incident are not available, but Maj. Kevin Gooding said the incident is alleged to have happened Jan. 15 and was reported to police by a parent of one of the girls when the two were being examined at Piedmot Fayette Hospital. Gooding said the alleged incident was said to have occurred in or around the O’Charley’s restaurant in Fayetteville. The girls, ages 15 and 17, reported that the man, someone known to them, had given them pills with the intention of taking advantage of them. The girls in their statement to officers said the man made the attempt. Gooding said the investigation is ongoing. login to post comments |
