By: The Citizen
Christmas comes to the Fayetteville Depot Wednesday, Dec. 9 through Friday Dec. 11 when the Twilight Theatre presents "Babes in Toyland,” a children's comedy based on the classic Victor Herbert operetta. This delightful one-act play features a cast of local actors ages 5-14 playing toys, Mother Goose characters, villains and even Santa himself. The student director is Maggie Spears, and the music director is Carolyn Bakovetz, both members of the Twilight Theatre Apprentice Company. Discount tickets are available in advance at the Depot for $5. Tickets at the door are $5 for students/military/seniors and $8 for adults. Shows are at 5 and 7 pm. Some shows are expected to sell out, so reservations can be made by email: [email protected].
