Routine roadwork forces detours along Hwy. 74 S Peachtree City drivers who frequent the industrial park are reminded of two areas where routine maintenance projects could delay traffic through the end of this week. CSX Railway Systems is performing grade repairs today at the crossing on Paschall Road.The road will be closed to traffic during this time. The work should take place during daylight hours. Also, CSX will be making repairs to grade crossings Monday, Sept. 29, at the crossing on Kelly Drive.The road will be closed to traffic during this time.The work should take place during daylight hours. Meanwhile, overnight delays will continue through Friday night on Ga. Highway 74 South between Clover Reach and Paschall Road, as the Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority performs manhole maintenance. The work was scheduled to began Monday night and should be completed by Saturday morning, starting around 10:30 p.m. each night and concluding about 5 a.m. During that time, both lanes of Hwy. 74 will be detoured, onto Clover Reach and Paschall Road.
