Obituaries

Ann Webb


Ann June Webb, 72, Senoia, died July 4, 2003. She was born April 6, 1931 in Fulton County.
Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tom Daughtery, and the Rev. John F. Jarrard officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn,
Newnan.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Raymond R. Webb; son, Rickey and Lisa Webb, Newnan, and Greg and Sandy Webb, Fayetteville; daughters, Deborah Ann and Don Halstead, Jackson, Ga., and Donna and Phillip Collins, Tyrone; brothers, Harold Cawthon, East Point, and Michael Cawthon, McDonough; sisters, Martha “Mot” Vickery, Fayetteville, and Henrietta “Reta” Kennemore, Suwanee, Fla.; grandchildren, Wendy and Joel McCullough, Corey and Nicki Halstead, James and Lisa Jones, Dusty Webb and Daley Webb; and great-grandchildren, Caleb McCullough, Jared McCullough, and Wyatt Halstead.
Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.

Ronald Banks


Ronald “Ronnie” Banks, 33, Moreland, died July 4, 2003. He was born Feb. 9,1970 in Fulton County. Services were at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fayetteville, with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park.
Survivors include his wife, Aleidy Banks, Moreland, a son, Kevin Banks, Moreland; parents, Silas and Shirley Lawrence, Newnan; a brother, George Lawrence, Moreland; and a sister, Sherry Lawrence, Union City.
Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.

James Campbell


James A. Campbell, 70, College Park, died July 9, 2003. He was born Sept. 11, 1932 in Colquitt County, Ga.
Memorial services were at the Cliftondale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sally Oakes and the Rev. Terry Del officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Campbell, College Park; a son, Frank and Terri Campbell, Conyers; daughters, Cheryl C. Acree, Newnan, and Carol E. and Don Fisher, McDonough; a brother, Alister Russell Campbell, Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Vivian Bittinger, Bristol, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cliftondale United Methodist Church, 4095 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349 or the Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.

Virginia Witcher


Virginia Ruth Witcher, 76, Newnan, died July 9, 2003. She was born Aug. 6, 1926 in Carroll County, Ga., daughter of the late Henry Clellon and Willie Beatrice Price Jones. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gregory Newton
“Greg” Witcher. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, directed the Sunbeams group, and sang in the choir.
Services were at the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. John Riley officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery in the Witcher family lot.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Powers Witcher; a son, Charles C. “Chuck” Witcher; grandchildren, David Witcher, Julie Witcher, and Ben Witcher, and Katie Wrenn; a brother, Billy Jones; sisters, Margaret and Dallas Young, Charlotte Warren, Janelle Cook, and Joyce Velting; a daughter-in-law, Jennie Witcher; and a sister-in-law, Thelma Jones.
Memorial donations may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church, 1504 Macedonia Road, Newnan, GA 30263.
McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
