Public Safety Issues Addressed at Chamber's Chairman's Roundtable Fayette County Sheriff Randall Johnson, Fayetteville Police Chief Johnny Roberts and Peachtree City Chief James Murray spoke during a recent meeting of the Chairman's Roundtable at the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Chairman Tate Godfrey presented each of the officials with a plaque thanking them for working together to maintain standards of safety in Fayette County. Each official addressed the members of the Roundtable and discussed the new challenges arising from the growth we are experiencing in Fayette County. They offered suggestions on how businesses can be involved in helping promote public safety, including business owners screening and knowing their employees and being willing to prosecute offenders, sending the message that we will not tolerate crime in Fayette County.
