Please, speak up. We aren't often asked what we think would be the best solution to a confusing situation by such professionals.
Peachtree City Wed, 10 Feb 2010 21:45:12 -0500 Big shout out to McIntosh 6th period chorus, and hope for Autism families http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/41156
It was the last day of school for my children, and I really wanted to do something special for my daughter's favorite class. It is Christmas time, though, and I worried about the money I would spend. I wrestled with the decision, and finally decided I would just go to Dunkin Doughnuts, and that would be my daughter's gift to her classroom. No doughnuts were available, though. Everyone in the area was out of doughnuts. In my mind I'm worried again, because muffins are so much more expensive. I told the clerk my concerns, who they were for, and she set me up with a sweet deal, so I could easily say to my dh, "but, look what a great deal I got", in typical female form.
Peachtree City Sat, 19 Dec 2009 10:37:02 -0500 Thanks GA good law http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/41153
I recently returned to PTC after being gone for 8 years. I was told that GA has a law that Military personnel can carry a concealed weapon without a special permit.
Peachtree City Fri, 18 Dec 2009 18:24:24 -0500 Visitors this holiday http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/40810
Many have already arrived, others will be here soon. Those relatives, friends, etc that we allow to come visit and bring into our homes. To ensure they have a pleasant experience while visiting our city I suggest a few things. First and foremost remind them that while they are guest here and on vacation that many citizens are still working. Second educate them that we are a civilized city made up of laws, this is especially vital when it comes to our uniqueness that they may not have experiences with. I’m talking about things like lease laws and cart paths and golf carts. Just yesterday while riding my bike on the cart path I had to stop as I was approached by a group with two dogs off their lease. Their comment was ‘he’s friendly”. I replied that’s what they said about Ted Bundy. Two days ago it was a golf cart being driven by a boy of about 6 maybe 8 years of age. It is our duty as citizens to educate our visitors to our laws, yes even cousin IT. If not because it is the right thing then because you as the homeowner can be held libel.
Peachtree City Mon, 30 Nov 2009 07:43:59 -0500 Plunkett movie titles http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/40653
Let's have some fun:

Sinful Cyndi does PTC...top 5 movie titles.....

Submitted by hi grover on Tue, 11/17/2009 - 9:28pm.
Peachtree City Wed, 18 Nov 2009 06:27:26 -0500 Answers from Beth Pullias, candidate for Post 1, Peachtree City http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/40243

Questions for Peachtree City candidates

1. Based on current zoning, there are roughly 1,400 more homes to be built before running out of virgin residential-zoned space. Do you see any need for the city to expand its borders through annexation for any zoning category? Why or why not? Please explain what type of development — if any — the city needs more of, how it will be paid for and where you think such annexation makes the most sense.
Peachtree City Tue, 27 Oct 2009 18:47:00 -0400 Answers from David Craig, candidate for Post 1, Peachtree City http://archive.thecitizen.com/node/40242
Questions for Peachtree City candidates

1.
