Lake Windsong, one of the area’s most popular lake communities, is hosting a Fall Tour of Home this week-end to showcase new luxury custom homes. Visitors may tour several of Lake Windsong’s historically inspired Southern traditional, Craftsman design, and spacious ranch plans on Saturday, November 11 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 from 1-5 p.m. Refreshments and door prizes are also Tour of Homes events.

Keller Wiliams Realty will have a yard sale on Oct. 14 to raise money for realtor Brent Yates.
Yates, a Hampton resident who has been with Keller Williams for a year, was injured in an ATV accident. After three weeks of numerous surgeries to try to save his right leg, it was amputated below the knee. Yates, who is married with three children, has no health insurance and his wife was unable to work while he was in the hospital.

Prudential Georgia Realty once again held its Annual Backpack Challenge to benefit area needy children. The sixth year this fund-raising drive has been held, the company collected 431 filled backpacks to benefit such organizations as the CHRIS Kids, Lumpkin Family Connection, M.U.S.T. Ministries, Children’s Restoration Network and Jackson County DFACS.
Prudential Georgia Realty’s Peachtree City office recently hosted its first-ever Sunshine Kids Walk. Funds raised from the three-mile walk---more than $4,400---will go to benefit the Sunshine Kids Foundation, an organization assisting children with cancer.
