La Hacienda

We have dined at the PTC and Fayetteville location several times using their coupon for $7.00 off a purchase of $20.00. They play the same game with every visit. Most restaurants take the $7.00 off the total bill, but they reduce the price of one of the entrees. If you have a burrito at $8.00, they show the new price at $2.50. You say that doesn't add up and you're right. Nearly every time they take $5.50 and not $7.00 off the bill. When you confront them then they play with other things on the bill. This is one that makes us furious - we order the fresh guacamole dip and then when we question the amount that they took off for the coupon they raise the price of the dip several dollars saying that they are charging us for the extra avocado. There are not two sizes for the guacamole dip on the menu but they play this game at both locations. We have stopped eating there because it's obvious that they enjoy ripping off good customers.

I just wanted to add my experience at La Hacienda in the Fayetteville location. To make a long story short they brought my tab for $35.00 which was originally S42.00 after the $7.00 coupon. I then signed my receipt for $35.00 and left a cash tip. When I got home I checked my account and they charged me for $42.00. I was FURIOUS! When I confronted them they put the so called manager on the phone who did not speak any english. Then they put another person on the phone who said they would credit the account for $7.00. Guess what, THEY NEVER DID! Was I surprised? Nope. I'll never go back there again, I guarantee you that! I wish something else could be done about the consistent fraud and theft that occurs there! Feel free to post this if you would like to.

This past week on the news it stated that LaHacienda in Fayetteville had scored a 64 on their last health inspection. Employees were using the mop sink to wash the lettuce in!!!! I checked the health inspection report and they brought it up to a 98 this past time, but I for one won't dining there-hearing about this has made me get naseous every time I drive by the place.

The La Hacienda that got the 50 on their health inspection score was the PTC location. There was a blog on here about it around 3 weeks ago. I heard it on Q100 this past Thursday morning, and they stated Fayetteville, but, it was actually the PTC location.

No, check the Fayette County Health Dept. website and you will see the PTC La Hacienda scored 93 and a 92 on their last two inspections. The Fayetteville location scored a 64 and then a 98 on their last inspection. I assume the county website is correct.

It was El Ranchero in PTC that got the low score on their health inspection. A 64.

Your right Gloria G, sorry about that. I remember reading about a Mexican restaurant in PTC that was being discussed about three weeks ago on here with bad scores. I thought Q100 got it wrong, but apparently not.

Do you know if the La Hacienda's are owned by the same people?

Do you even know what you are posting? "You remember reading,,,. I thought (?)Q100..."? You listen to Q100 and expect to have any credibility? How lame you are. I like the Speedy Gonzales for lunch and the Carne Asada or the pork for dinner. NEVER had a problem w/ either location & Hey remember, HOT plate.

It's all a little foggy....I just normally go for margaritas anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter. Just do some shots if tequila, and health inspection reports mean nothing anyway.

I did get sick after eating there. I don't know if eating there caused it (don't want to get sued), but I was sick within thirty minutes.

I don't go there anymore.

Your sissy stomach could not take the chili hot pepper?
Stop complaining and eat at home (or go to McDonald)
