Onyx

Ok, what gives? Hooters of Fayetteville goes away then this place called Onyx takes over the joint but never opens it's doors. First off, what is "Onyx?," Secondly, what happened to it? I saw all this remodeling going on and I even saw 2 days of activity as if it were a private grand opening or something of the kind......then nothing at all. Now it sits there with all the signs of a closed-up shop.

Do I sense another Fayette County restaurant going "belly up" as a result of tax evasion?

Are you surprised? I mean, what a great location (notice - extreme tongue in cheek). Hooters did not make it, for a lot of reasons. Shoney's failed too. Until traffic flow is changed at this location, there cannot be a viable retail business located there.
