By: The Citizen
The youth ministry at Fayetteville Christian Church will host several events and outings this summer — one to Six Flags theme park and another to Johnson Bible College in Tennessee. The Six Flags outing will be on Tuesday, July 28 (the final super Tuesday event) and the cost will be $15 per person plus another $15-$20 for two fast food meals. Lunch will be eaten inside the park. The group will leave the church at 9:45 Tuesday morning and will return to the church by 6 p.m. Absolute final deadline to sign up and pay is Wednesday, July 22. No one will be accepted for the trip if payment is not received by that date. A three-day retreat for high school youth is set for Aug. 2-4 when the group will travel to Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tenn. Some activities planned include whitewater rafting, a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium, and hanging out on the JBC campus for two nights. The cost will be approximately $40 per person. For either event, contact Derek Faircloth, youth minister, at the church Monday through Thursday, 770-461-8763, or email Derek at derek@fayettevillechristian.org. login to post comments |
