Janie Davis, 45, Peachtree City, died June 26, 2009. She was born Jan. 3, 1964 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Marilyn and Robert Heberlein. At age 13 she moved to Peachtree City where she spent the rest of her life. She attended Fayette County High School and became a cosmetologist. She was a gifted and caring hair stylist and truly loved her work. She married Bob Davis in 1985 and although later divorced the couple remained very close friends.

Memorial services will be tomorrow, July 2, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. The Rev. Betty Castellani will officiate. Survivors include her children, Kyle and Karly Davis, Peachtree City; mother, Marilyn Heberlein and friend, Peter Anderson, Jensen Beach, Fla.; father, Robert and Thelma Heberlein, Tucker; and a sister, Delynn "Dee" and Bill Keeton, Atlanta. Memorial donations may be sent to the Davis Children Education Fund, 135 Woodchase Court, Atlanta, GA 30319 or the Fayette County Animal Shelter, 1262 Hwy. 74 S., Peachtree City, GA 30269. Carl J.
