Robert Arnold Tucker, 68, Buford, formally of Stone Mountain and Fayetteville, died June 6, 2009 of a sudden heart attack while in Illinois. He was a graduate of South West DeKalb High School and Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was retired from Osram/Sylvania Lighting. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood.

Survivors include his wife, J. J. Tucker, Buford; children, Paige and Scott Needling, McDonough, Priscilla and Ted Henry, Peachtree City, Matt and Alicia Tucker, Fayetteville, Beth and Greg Bennett, Lilburn, and Russ and Jen McKenna, Carrollton; six grandsons; four granddaughters; mother, Mary Ella Tucker, Christian City; a brother, Bobby and Diane Tucker, Newnan; and a sister, Annette and Kenny Dyar, Berkley Springs, W. Va. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Pkwy., Ste. 1, Marietta, GA 30067. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
