In a Nutshell this would make it illegal to own a firearm-any Rifle with a mag or ANY Pistol unless:
It is Registered.
You have been issued a Firearms Permit..(NOT A CONCEALED PERMIT)
You are fingerprinted.
You supply a current Drivers License.
You supply your Social Security Number.
YOU WILL SUBMIT TO A PHYSICAL & MENTAL EVALUATION AT ANY TIME OF THE GOVERMENTS CHOOSING
EACH UP-DATE/SALE MUST BE RECORDED AND A $25 FEE MUST BE PAID.. IF YOU HAVE A CHILD OR IF A CHILD MAY BE PRESENT AT ANY TIME.. THE GUN MUST BE LOCKED UP AT ALL TIMES.

Attorney General to establish and run a Federal record of sale system.

In order to receive a Firearms License issued by the Government you must:

Passport sized photo and application to the AG.

Submit name, address, DOB

Finger Prints

If you have been deemed unable to own a firearm ie.. (on a list of undesirables)DHS REPORT COMES TO MIND... you must submit in writing a statement why you are not prohibited to own a firearm. REMEMBER THAT'S ANY FIREARM

Release of all Health Records to the Attorney General

It is unlikely this Bill will pass says Lawrence Keane of the NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation) There are 80 million plus-Gun Owners in America making it unlikely that Congressional Democrats will give this Bill much support..

It's H.R. 45, not 25 and it's been languishing in the Subcommittee on Terrorism and Homeland Security since Feb 9th. Many bills like this never make it out of Subcommittee. But the NRA is making robo-calls about it and asking questions like "Do you trust an anti-gun Congress to protect your 2d Amendment Rights?"

That's what I get for trying to blog and work at the same time...

It's like shooting at your target with a blindfold on.. Eventually the target does get hit...
They keep trying at some point smaller versions of this will get thru.. then piece by piece our Freedoms will slowly evaporate..

Put a frog in a pot of water then slowly raise the heat.. The frog will stay in the pot even while being boiled alive.. It's all about increments..
