Elise Michele Stinson and Leslie Maurice Brundidge of Phoenix Ariz. were married May 9, 2009, at Mount Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. Melvin Ware, Mount Olive pastor, officiated. A reception followed at the Rebecca Lakes Homeowners Club.

The bride is the daughter of Leon and Dortha Stinson of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Bickerstaff and the late Hubbert L. Bickerstaff of Montgomery, Ala.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brundidge of Montgomery.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin wedding gown with a flocked bodice and carried white gladioli.

The matron of honor was Capt. Rosa Bell, U.S. Army. Bridal attendants were Mrs. Lisa Stinson Newbold, sister of the bride, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Chrystal Elise Suswell of Dallas.

The best men were Darryl Winston of Washington D.C., Jeff McKitt of Montgomery and Michael Stinson, brother of the bride, of Fayetteville. The ring bearer was Randall D. Bell and the ushers were Darius Hill, nephew of the groom, and Rodney Bell.

After a cross country trip to visit friends and family, the couple will reside in Phoenix.
