Summit will offer Terrific Tuesdays
Terrific Tuesdays, six weeks of free activities for children ages 4-12, will meet now through July 21 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at The Summit Church (PCUSA) on Ga. Highway 92 in Fayetteville. Terrific Tuesdays is under the direction of Susan Gilbert, director of children’s ministry. Register on line at www.info@thesummitpc.net.

FFBC ladies to host ‘Laff Night’
The Fayetteville First Baptist Church ladies’ ministry will host a women’s get-together for “Laff Night” Thursday, June 18, from 7-9 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Childcare will be provided and dessert will be served. Register by email through ffbcladiesministry@gmail.com and sign up for childcare if needed, or call 770-461-8378, ext. 101.

Yard sale scheduled for this weekend
Church of the Harvest at 1653 Ga. Hwy. 85 south in Fayetteville will host a yard sale in the church parking lot on June 19 and 20 from 7 a.m. until noon each day. All proceeds will benefit a mission trip to El Salvador in September. Items for sale include a porcelain doll collection, crystal, collectable figurines, guitar, bicycle and much more.

‘Jesus People’ conference begins Friday
The Vineyard Community Church in Senoia (senoiavineyard.com) will host the Jesus People Conference with special guest Bob Gladstone, school director and professor of practical theology at The Fire School of Ministry in North Carolina. The conference will be held this weekend, Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 21 during the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. For more information go to www.senoiavineyard.com.

New Beginnings plans Community Day
New Beginnings Praise and Worship center will host Community/Family and Friends Day, “Bringing Unity to the Community,” Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 21, at 10:30 am. The event will feature free food and free fun and games for kids and adults. Other activities include a health fair, food pantry, children’s and singles ministries booths and more. There will be a huge giveaway and other prizes. The church is at 1091 South Jeff Davis Dr., Fayetteville.

Lighthouse VBS starts June 21
The Lighthouse Church has opened registration for its summver VBS, “Crocodile Dock,” to be held June 21-25 from 6-8:30 p.m. each night. VBS will take place at 400 Windgate Road in Peachtree City (Peachtree City UMC’s Windgate Campus). Go to www.lighthouseumc.net/vbs to register.

Hopewell VBS kids will visit Rome
Vacation Bible School at Hopewell UMC, in Tyrone, will transport participants back to the ancient city of Rome where they will learn about “Paul and the Underground Church.” VBS will be held June 22-26, from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is open to all rising kindergarteners to rising sixth graders. Register at the church between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily, or call 770-306-7537. Hopewell UMC is at 351 Jenkins Rd., directly across from Sandy Creek High School.

FFUMC VBS starts June 22
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have VBS June 22-26 from 9 a.m. until 12;15 p.m with Bible study, crafts, games and music. The cost is $10 and includes a t-shirt and music CD. PTC Presbyterian VBS opens registration
SonRock Kids Camp 2009 will be held at Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church June 22-26 beginning at 9 a.m. each day. Children from rising kindergarten through rising fifth graders are eligible. Trinity Fellowship to host wellness lecture
Trinity Fellowship will host a four-day wellness session, “My Body His Temple,” Monday through Thursday, June 22 - 25, from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. The event features an eight-DVD-lecture and class discussion on spiritual, mental, emotional and physical wellness.
