NCR, wasn't that deal supposed to involve PTC? What I've heard on the news only refers to Duluth. Ummmmm, what about all those jobs coming to PTC? I didn't hear that part.

eodnnaenaj1,
That was something completly different, which if you've driven by NCR in Peachtree City over the last several months you would see they have been building a large expansion on the building there.
The news announced this week was for the re-location of thier main corporate headquarters from Dayton Ohio to available office space in Duluth. I believe this available space is either connected or adjacent to thier present space in Duluth, which also added positions in the previous expansion announcment last fall. I would venture to guess we wouldn't even have the type or size office space "available" in Peachtree City for such a move. Here's an article I found from the Citizen search function. > http://www.thecitizen.com/node/32921

There have been a couple hundred added in call centers. They are undergoing a major renovation that when finished will bring more in.

Along with the jobs being created, once the NCR Center of Excellence is completed, it will be the worldwide education center for NCR, hosting NCR employees from around the globe. This will be good for the local economy too.
