Rebecca Kaupman, 68, Fayetteville, died May 6, 2009. She worked for the Fayette County Board of Education as a cafeteria worker at Whitewater Middle School for over seven years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include sons, Charles Bennett Hix Jr., David Edward and Catherine Hix, and Joel Madison Hix, all of Fayetteville, and Christopher John and Brandy Kaupman, Panama City Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Rebecca Hix, Kristi Hix, Christopher Cohen, Christopher Peja Kaupman, and Chloe Ashley. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
