Obama’s Tortured History

Obama’s Tortured History

Under the Obama Administration, America is perilously close to losing our moral integrity regarding basic human rights, especially the right to life. President Obama has taken a seemingly unequivocal moral stand in favor of human rights by banning waterboarding, which he considers a form of torture. But juxtapose his moral outrage over torture with his nomination of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to lead the Health and Human Services Department.

Maobama is nothing but a hypocrite. He claims the moral high ground by opposing torture, yet one of the first bills he signed as TOTUS was a bill that sent American taxpayer dollars overseas to make sure that unborn babies were killed.

Is this the creep I am supposed to be? Jeff, Cyclist and Fred all represent the right wingnut fanatic fringe very good. Some people are just haters and bigots.

Welcome to the old guys club. Does the rest of the family know about this? Can we have our next meeting at your mansion? Smiling

Did I miss your conversion and the following baptism?

I knew Fred would win you over eventually....

At least I'm in good company with you guys. Y'all are welcome to the mansion, you can help me clean out the garage then we can drink French wine and eat brie!

Yes, the family knows... I sent them the link. I've been called a lot of things before but this is right up there at the top.

I'm right though aren't I? It's either Fred or the dumbest idiot on the planet, and yes, I'm making that distinction.

BPR to me. I think BPR or one of the clones and Fred are related or run in the same circles. "RIGHT" leaning, no matter what.

"I will seek someone who understands that justice isn't about some abstract legal theory or footnote in a case book. It is also about how our laws affect the daily realities of people's lives" - the operative word being "people's" lives...

This will be interesting to watch Fred and the social conservatives writhe and squirm as Obama taps another "moderate" to replace Souter.

Looks like abortion rights will be safe and legal for our children and grandchildren!

You missed the "Empathy" part---which is commonly used as a codeword for "Judicial Activist". Let's just hide in the weeds and watch.

Let us not send American dollars to make sure foreign babies are kilt. Let us instead wait until they are fully born, then snuff out their little terrorist a$$e$. You're some kind of powerful shepherd tending your human flock.

O good shepherd, feed Fred's sheep
I can hear Fred's lambs a-callin
O good shepherd
Feed Fred's sheep

Seriouso, vato, do you spend a lot of time thinking about abortion? It's so 1986.

I asked him why his party, so concerned with morals and fair taxation, rejected the Baptist Minister who supported Fair Tax for the guy who had fractured relationships with his kids and a failed marriage. That's when "fred" pulled out fake vomit and stiffed me for the bill.

Well, ALL of the party didn't reject Mike Huckabee--remember, he won the GA primary! You must know lotsa folks are kinda like many TarHeels--vote Dem because their Daddy did but live a very conservative lifestyle. You read his book--"Do The Right Thing"? watched his show on TV? A principled man of faith who has a ton of experience in managing governmental affairs. Just didn't have the resources and organization to compete nationally. I believe he's building a recognition base and just may be back in the race somewhere down the road.
